In recent decades, Dubai has transformed itself from a regional trading center into a global investment and tourism hub. With an opulent infrastructure and a superlative skyline that keeps making and breaking its own records, Dubai is regarded as one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Dubai has been on the forefront on building amazing projects that showcase on every property magazine globally. This city never stops growing, and even after having the some of the worlds largest and prominent structures, a lot more is yet to come. The creek has had its significance in Dubai’s growth and these two projects will take it to the next level, and will change Dubai for the years to come.

Dubai Water Canal Project

This magnificent development is a 3.2 kilometer extension of the Deira Creek, connecting business bay to the Arabian Gulf through Sheikh Zayed Road, Al-Wasl Road and the Jumeirah Road. Covering a total area of 4 million square meters, the development is clustered in three district zones, the Water Network, the Green Network and the Public Realm, with each district having its own importance.

The Water Network includes the canal that connects Business Bay to the Arabian Gulf; The Arabian Gulf coastline, and the Crystal Lagoon in Safa Park. The Green Network connects Safa Park to the new Jumeirah Beach Park. The Public Realm is located along the Canal. A five kilometer boardwalk consisting of an array of restaurants, cafes and leisure activities. The development includes luxury housing, shopping malls, hotels, marinas, cycling paths and entertainment amenities.  The project will create enormous residential and commercial opportunities to choose from the 4,500 apartments, 44 townhouses, 19 villas and 65,000 square metres of office and a staggering 37,000 square meters of retail space. Water transportation is a major part of the project and 10 marine transit stations, linking into a network of waterways will boost the ferrying of people, to and fro the community.

Dubai Creek Harbour

Located abreast of Ras-Al-Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, Dubai creek harbor is envisioned as a futuristic city that will exemplify innovation in creating a sustainable environment, and creating a sense of sustainable biodiversity and ecological responsibility to pass it on to new generations. While keeping intact the cultural heritage of Dubai, build a smart and green city that will feature the world’s tallest tower, higher than the Burj Khalifa.

Spread across a total area of 6 million square meters on an open site, Dubai Creek Harbour is a mixed-use development that will showcase waterfront eco-resorts, residential and commercial towers with enviable views, a marina and a yacht club.   Cultural, leisure and educational institutions and world class amenities that will surpass similar developments in other global cities and is truly dynamic.

We look forward to these amazing developments and how they will further create business and residential opportunities. What is interesting is to see Dubai’ focus on building new developments, enhance its attraction as a tourism destination, and to stay ahead in building amazing real estate that is driven by passion.
