It's actually pretty easy to get free stuff on Amazon, you just need to know where to look. You can get free products, gift cards, Amazon credits, music, movies, audiobooks, and much more.
If you take advantage of these Amazon freebies, you can save up to hundreds of dollars a year and have a lot of fun doing it. You'll get free entertainment, save money when shopping, and possibly get some free stuff you can keep for yourself.
To get some, but not all, of the free stuff on Amazon, you'll need to subscribe to Amazon Prime. It's $119 a year but you can try it out for 30 days with a free trial. You also can share Amazon Prime (with some restrictions) to save even more. If you're a student, you can get a free 6-month trial to Prime Student.
1. Download and Stream Free Music
Amazon has 10,000+ free MP3 downloads that anyone can download and stream for free. There's no limit either, you can download as few or as many as you like.
You can filter the free songs and albums by new releases, popular artists, customer reviews, or customer ratings. This makes it much easier to find music that you want to download.
If you're an Amazon Prime member, you get free access to Prime Music, where you can listen to over two million streaming songs, on-demand and without any ads.
The Amazon Music app is one of our top free music apps and you can use it to listen to your songs and create playlists.
2. Read Free Kindle eBooks
Prime member or not, everyone can read free Kindle books from Amazon's Top 100 Free Kindle eBooks. You can also view this list by genre to find just what you're looking for.
There are also limited-time offers for free Kindle books which change almost daily so be sure to check the list often.
Amazon Prime members can get an unlimited reading over more than 1,000 books and magazines with Prime Reading and a free monthly editor's pick with Kindle First. There's also Kindle Owner's Lending Library, where you can borrow hundreds of ebooks for free.
Everyone has the option of sharing Kindle books with family and friends and exploring other places to download free Kindle ebooks.
3. Watch Free Movies and TV Shows
If you subscribe to Amazon Prime, you have Amazon Prime Video included which lets you stream thousands of movies, TV shows, and original programming from Amazon.
You can get Amazon Prime Video on a ton of devices and even download some of the content for offline viewing.
If you like the idea of Prime Video but don't want to subscribe to Amazon Prime, you can pay $8.99 a month just for Prime Video. Most of the content is also available for individual purchase or rental.
4. Get Free Shipping
There are two different ways to get free shipping when you order from Amazon.
If you're an Amazon Prime member, one of the benefits is that you get free two-day shipping with no minimum purchase. You can also get standard shipping, no-rush shipping, and release date delivery for free. If you live in certain cities, you may also be able to get free one-day, same-day, or even 2-hour delivery.
If you're not an Amazon Prime member, you can get free shipping as long as your purchase is $25 or over and the items you're buying are eligible.
5. Get Free Amazon Credits and Gift Cards
Amazon credits are money that Amazon puts into your account for making a purchase or even getting something that's already free, to begin with.
These credits come and go, but in the past, there are have been $5-$20 credits for downloading free apps or signing up for free trials of their services. Amazon Prime members also get credits for digital items for choosing a slower shipping speed.
A few times a year, Amazon has deals on free Amazon gift cards. These work by purchasing an Amazon gift card during the promotion and then you'll get an additional $5-10 gift card on top of that. You can send all the Amazon gift cards to yourself and apply them to your account.
6. Order Free Sample Boxes
Amazon's Sample Box program lets you try a curated box of samples based on a theme. You do have to pay for the box initially but then once you purchase an individual item from the box, you'll get a credit back for the sample box price.
The types of sample boxes available come and go, but some of the more popular boxes have included a Snack Sample Box, K-Cups Coffee Sample Box, Daily Beauty Sample Box, Luxury Sun Care Sample Box, Nutrition and Wellness Sample Box, Luxury Grooming Sample Box, and Dog Food and Treats Sample Box.
This offer is only for Amazon Prime members and there's a limit of one of each sample box per customer.
7. Listen to Free Audio Books
There are a few ways to get free audiobooks on Amazon, but you'll need to either be a Prime member or sign up for a free trial of Audible.
Amazon Prime members can listen to free audiobooks through Audible Channels. This is a free section of the Audible app that features free audiobooks in a variety of genres plus some original audio series.
If you haven't yet signed up for Audible, you can sign up for their free trial which will get you 2 free audiobooks upon sign-up. You can keep subscribing for $14.95 a month after that or cancel at any time.
8.Receive Free Items to Review
Amazon Vine is a program that gives customers free items of all types to keep in exchange for an honest review of the item.
The products that you may get include items that haven't been released yet. These items are given by the publisher, studio, manufacturer, label, or any other vendor who wants to participate.
Amazon Vine is an invitation-only program. You can get noticed by Amazon by writing honest and fair in-depth reviews. Once you've got their trust, and they've got a product to review that you'd be a good fit for, they'll email you and ask you to become a Vine Voice and write a review in exchange for the item.

If you're an Amazon Prime member, you get free unlimited photo storage for all your personal photos.
You can share this feature with 5 other people to create a Family Vault of photos.
